Yes. Use the Edit button to open the generated text chart in the manual stitch editor, where you can paint cells, erase stitches, add colours, and adjust the design before downloading.
What fabric count should I use?
Fabric count is the number of stitches per inch. A higher count makes the same text smaller and more detailed. 14-count Aida is the most common beginner choice; 11-count is larger and easier to see, while 16 and 18 count are finer.
Can I use this for initials or monograms?
Absolutely. Type one, two, or three letters to create initials or a simple monogram. The Traditional Sampler Serif style is a popular choice for monograms and family samplers.
What is the easiest font style for beginners?
Simple Block is the easiest to stitch. Its clear filled letters are forgiving to count and quick to complete, which makes it the best default for a first project.
How do I calculate the finished size?
Divide the stitch width and height by the fabric count to get the finished size in inches, then multiply by 2.54 for centimetres. The generator does this for you and shows both units, plus a recommended fabric cut size that adds a margin on every edge.
