1. Terms of Use

Client-Side Processing & Privacy

StitchBitz runs entirely client-side. We do not upload your photos, images, designs, or patterns to our servers. All quantization, background removal, PDF compilation, and video encoding are processed locally in your browser. Because of this, clearing your browser cache or site storage may result in the loss of unsaved pattern work.

Ownership & Commercial Rights

You retain full ownership of any source photos or images you upload and the cross-stitch pattern data (grids and color selections) you generate.

  • Commercial Kits & Crafts: You are free to sell physical cross-stitch kits, finished hand-made embroidery, and original digital instructions based on the pattern data you create with this tool.
  • Export Restrictions: You may not directly resell, redistribute, or license the raw exported PDF documents or JPG chart files generated directly by the StitchBitz generator without modification or custom branding. See the generated chart license for the specific chart export terms.

No Warranties (As-Is)

StitchBitz is provided “as-is” and “as available,” without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the digital colors represented perfectly match physical DMC thread colors, or that the tool will meet specific sizing requirements. Summer Monk and StitchBitz are not liable for any issues, including but not limited to lost data or material waste.

2. Website License & Copyright

The StitchBitz website, application source code, custom design styles, graphics, and logo are proprietary and Copyright © Summer Monk / StitchBitz, All Rights Reserved. You are granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive license to access and use the web application through a standard web browser.

3. Third-Party Software Attribution
