Hello! I’m the person behind the pixels.
If you’re here, you probably love the idea of creating something beautiful, but maybe—like me—you’ve spent more time planning projects than actually finishing them.
I’m a lifelong crafter with famously clumsy fingers and a short attention span that rarely survives a 50-hour cross-stitch project. I have a graveyard of half-finished patterns in my drawers, but I realised something: I don’t actually mind that they aren’t finished. The part I truly love is the act of creating the pattern itself.
I wanted a way to turn the photos I love—the ones sitting on my phone—into something I could start working on in seconds, rather than spending weeks painstakingly charting them out by hand.
StitchBitz is my way of capturing that initial spark of creation. It’s for the dreamers, the “I’ll-start-that-this-weekend” enthusiasts, and anyone else who finds as much joy in the design as they do in the final stitch.
There is something deeply soothing about the grid. It creates a comforting boundary in a chaotic world, allowing me to organise the image into a map I can actually follow. Whether you finish your projects or they eventually find their way into your own “half-finished” collection, I hope this tool helps you enjoy the process just a little bit more.
Happy stitching!
